OK folks, since I enjoy reading Rachel's blog so much about baby progress, I decided to start one too. Although I'm a little late...better late than never! Here is my 16 week photo. Can you see my little belly? It's slowly creeping out. I'm feeling really good, I just can't keep my eyes open past about 9:00 at night. And hungry a lot.
I THINK I felt the baby move too! Very exciting!! I don't know for sure but I think it was...it felt like a bubbles in my belly. I can't wait for the bubbles to turn into real kicks! We have our ultrasound in a few weeks, October 14th. I can't wait for that (even though we aren't finding out the sex, it will still be fun to see the baby moving around in there)! The weekend before that, Grandma and Grandpa Conklin are coming down to help with the nursery. That is super exciting too! We have a lot of the big stuff taken care of already...crib, dresser, strollers, car seats, high chair, etc. So I'm just excited to see it all come together. My wonderful hubby got me flowers this week too for no reason!!
This weekend we are going to Ethan's football game on Saturday morning, then down to Oktoberfest downtown Appleton. There are TONS of people that go down there, and they block College Avenue off...lots of beer, food, and crafts. Of course this year, no beer...just going down to enjoy the food.
As you can see, Baxter is all ready for the fall too, he is a pumpkin for Halloween!! He wanted to cheer he cousin Izzy up who just had surgery on her leg, so he put the costume on. Hopefully Izzy feels better soon!
OK...there's the first post...have a great week!
Love,
Carley
